Dr Preeti Kumar

For nearly 18 years, Dr Preeti Kumar has been providing the highest quality dentistry in Fremont and the East Bay first as an associate and then in her own practice, Cedar Dental Care. Her approach to dentistry is 3 phased – health, function and cosmetics. In her practice, it is common to see families of all ages treated for a wide range of dental needs from initial checkups, crowns to cosmetic restorations, braces and implants.

Dr Mohita Sinha

Not many dentists in the Bay Area can say that they have multiple professional and graduate degrees, but Dr. Sinha is an exception. After completing her bachelors and master’s degrees from India’s most prestigious dental school, she moved to the United States and completed her fellowship from UCSF. She was honored to have her graduate research published by the renowned American Journal of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics. She continued her dental education and earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Loma Linda University School of Dentistry, where she was inducted into the elite Omicron Kappa Upsilon national dental honor society and also won accolades in pediatric, surgical, and aesthetic dentistry.

Dr. Shun Chien

Dr. Shun Chien, focused in Implants, Sedation, and Oral Surgery.

Dr. Shun Chien has committed to extensive training and advanced continuing education in Implants and Oral Surgery. Dr. Chien received his Dental Degree (DDS) from New York University Collage of Dentistry. He then went onto a year of General Practice Residency at NYU Langone Brooklyn hospital to gain experience in complex medical management and trauma cases. Afterwards, Dr. Chien further his education at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine for another year of post graduate training. Since moving to the Bay Area, Dr. Chien enjoys taking his patients out of pain with relatively painless teeth extraction surgery. Furthermore, he is highly experienced in removing Wisdom teeth impactions. Dr. Chien also loves to rehabilitate patients’ smiles by providing Dental Implants to replace missing or broken teeth, giving patients back the function and confidence of having a healthy mouth. Dr. Chien is proud to provide different sedation options; from nitrous to oral minimal sedation to moderate IV sedation, to ensure his patients are comfortable and anxiety-free during the treatment. He strongly believes in collaborating and sharing with his dental colleagues to elevate the care of all patients. Dr. Chien is currently pursuing his diplomate status with the American Board of Implantology.
