For nearly 18 years, Dr Preeti Kumar has been providing the highest quality dentistry in Fremont and the East Bay first as an associate and then in her own practice, Cedar Dental Care. Her approach to dentistry is 3 phased - health, function and cosmetics. A member of the CDA, ADA, Academy of General Dentistry and the Alameda Dental Society, Dr Kumar has extensive training in all aspects of dentistry including implants, Invisalign and porcelain restorations. With a strong belief that highly effective dentistry is based on prevention, leading edge current training and techniques and compassionate care, Dr Kumar employs modern standards of care practices throughout every aspect of her office, from insurance administration to the delivery of excellent clinical treatments.
Having a very engaging husband and two wonderful children of her own, Dr Kumar is very comfortable seeing families as a whole, including kids and teens. And when she finally has time to herself, she enjoys simple pleasures such as cooking, traveling and arts and crafts. Warm, inviting and deeply committed to her patients, Dr Kumar exudes a sense of warmth and comfort that soothes even the most fearful patients. I simply cannot say enough about Dr. Kumar and her staff. I was very anxious walking in, but by the time I left I felt completely comfortable and at ease. Everyone made sure I understood exactly what was going on every step of the way and quickly answered any questions I had, even showing me videos so that I understood better.

The first time I visited Dr. Kumar, I had a lot of pending dental work. She not only discussed each one of the problem area with me, she also helped me schedule my treatment in a way where I could benefit the most from my insurance. My favorite part was when her office did all the homework for me.

WOW! Was I ever surprised. Dr Kumar was very detailed in her assessment and recommendation for corrective action. She explained what was going on through out the visit. She and her staff worked with me to devise a plan to correct my dental problem within my budget. The staff gets an A+, and Dr. Kumar gets an A+.

I have been visiting Cedar Dental Care since 2010 and would recommend this clinic to anyone. Dr Kumar is very friendly and most important (for me) GENTLE. She will take great care of all your dental needs - I have had 2 crowns and multiple fillings done. The staff is also very friendly. Overall this place has everything you look for in a dentist!
